A Moment Called Man Paperback – July 3, 2019

3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars 11 ratings

The author said..."He will come in the twinkling of an eye." Such a profound event can happen in a blink. If God can use such a small space to return to this world, how much more can He do in a lifetime of yielded disfigurement? You are holding the heartbeat of the next season in your hands. May your eyes be open.

Nothing about Demonology here- A CHRISTIAN BOOK
TINY BOOK… 71 pages of large printAlthough the info is amazing this is a VERY tiny book with 71 pages for $29.59..Readers should be aware that this book has a strong Christian perspective and says nothing about demonology. That’s a lot of money for an unwanted sermon.may not provide a balanced view of demonology. Those looking for a practical guide to demonologyI think people should know the size of the book before they invest that much money.

I am thankful that this book exists. It's amazing oftentimes, how things cross our path, especially when God is in it. I was just praying on how I could encourage a dear friend who is very much a Christian, but is starving in a church. When a person is in that place, what needs to be said are pictures and the deep conveyance of understanding that can only come from someone who knows from having lived it themselves.

Scars. So often I have felt "too much" for any church body that I've been in. There gets to be that tipping point in your life when you realize that you can't tell your story, for fear of retraumatizing those who hear it. And when that happens to you at 17, and you find people distancing themselves from you, like you have a curse on your life. There's a great suffering in having to heal alone and rather blindly.

From my standpoint now, that was decades ago. The Lord has continued to heal me. But that healing process has only made me less relevant in any church I've attended. I've even been kicked out of a couple. I have seen how the church doesn't even know that they are often teaching abusive patterning and keeping the victim quiet. All of this even takes a physical toll over time.

And even while I am so much more knowledgeable than I was, I've often wondered if the cost is too great, because who can know of it? If it's considered too adversarial, then can it ever be considered friendly? And then I've wondered if I should have seen less (I tried that), been hurt less, been more guarded (tried that too), or just love everyone (tried that and also was burned). As the Bible says "For lack of knowledge, the people perish." I finally settled into just following God's leading no matter where that may take me, and not being as concerned with what I've gone through. That's been the only sure path in my life, with measurable victory, healing, and divine appointments.

I am thankful for the heart knowledge that this book brings.

As an example of how confirming this book is, a few months ago, I had a vision of reaching out my hands to Jesus, and seeing that there were scars on my hands (after having another painful break with a church). Then He took my hands into His and I realized that He had the same patterning of scars on His. This is how He turned my tears of loneliness into poignant tears of understanding. That I may know Him in the fellowship of His suffering.

This book also has made me realize all over again that loneliness is part of the journey, but that I am not alone. There are others who are traveling the same path. This book has changed my life.

The book is simple, yet powerful!! It may not be the most grammar perfect book you ever read. However it is one of the most profound books that have helped me personally get 1 step closer, I am a hard nut to crack open. A moment called man, might have given me my first crack!

An amazing book that will change your view of God, yourself, and the world around you. I'm guessing it was self published because there are typos and grammar issues desperately in need of editing, but the content is so worth overlooking them. My only real complaint is that the book is pricey at $26.95 for 71 pages. But again, the content is so healing and inspiring that it was worth every penny. Now I ordered a second copy to send to a friend.

The good news here- this amateur effort proves that anyone can write a book... or not. Don't let a lack of talent or skill stop you!

This book and it's author know what pain and rejection is, and how religion can destroy the inner soul by emotionally scarring those who do not comply. A great read if you are hurting and need a healing... amazing!
